## **Neat Frame or Board**

*Use a Neat Frame or Neat Board as a ready-made Virtual Front Desk station.*

Neat devices are a natural fit for Virtual Front Desk. Their sharp display, high-quality camera, built-in speakers and automatic kiosk mode make them an ideal station for your lobby. As an official Neat partner, the Virtual Front Desk app is available in the **Neat Pulse** app hub, Neat’s device management platform.

## **Why use a Neat device**

-   **Kiosk mode built in:** the station runs full screen and visitors cannot leave it. No extra setup is needed.
-   **Remote management:** if a station appears offline in your dashboard, sign in to Neat Pulse to restart or control the device remotely. To be alerted by email or SMS when a station goes offline, turn on Offline alerts in the station’s settings.
-   **All-in-one hardware:** display, camera, microphones and speakers in a single device.

## **Set up Virtual Front Desk on your Neat device**

1.  Create a free account on [Neat Pulse](https://pulse.neat.no/).
2.  Link your Neat device to Neat Pulse and turn on the **Virtual Front Desk** app. Neat’s guide [Getting started with Neat open apps](https://support.neat.no/article/getting-started-with-neat-open-apps/) walks you through it.
3.  On the Neat device, the Virtual Front Desk app asks for a **connection code**. Enter the station’s connection code from your dashboard, under **Stations**.

Your station now works just like it does on an iPad, a Windows computer or an Android tablet.

## **Change the Wi-Fi network**

If you change the Wi-Fi network on a Neat Frame and it asks for the **admin password**, enter the **last six digits of the Frame’s serial number**. You can find the serial number in the Frame’s **Settings** > **Devices**, or on the label under the Frame.
